Request Options

For more fine-tuned control over how your API calls are made, we provide you with the ability to specify additional options that can be applied directly to the 'axios' object used in this library to make network calls to the API. You may specify additional options either in the global google object or on a service client basis. The options you specify are attached to the axios object so whatever axios supports, this library supports. You may also specify global or per-service request parameters that will be attached to all API calls you make. A full list of supported options can be found here. When HTTP_PROXY / http_proxy are set, they will be used to proxy non-SSL requests that do not have an explicit proxy configuration option present. Similarly, HTTPS_PROXY / https_proxy will be respected for SSL requests that do not have an explicit proxy configuration option. It is valid to define a proxy in one of the environment variables, but then override it for a specific request,

Coffee is one of the most popular beverages on the planet. You pour it without thinking but there's a fascinating backstory behind your morning cup if coffee. Clinical studies indicate that moderate coffee consumption is benign or mildly beneficial in healthy adults, with continuing research on whether long-term consumption lowers the risk of some diseases, although those long-term studies are of generally poor quality.  The original name for coffee, Kaffa, came from the region in southwest Ethiopia where coffee was first discovered in the wild. Unlike almost every other coffee growing country, coffee trees grow naturally here. A 2017 review of clinical trials found that drinking coffee is generally safe within usual levels of intake and is more likely to improve health outcomes than to cause harm at doses of 3 or 4 cups of coffee daily.

Tap Water Vs Bottled Water

Bottled water is a drain on the environment: The U.S. public goes through about 50 billion water bottles a year, and most of those plastic containers are not recycled. Bottled water is not typically safer than tap water. In fact, more than half of all bottled water comes from the tap. Water bottle garbage is a major source of pollution. Buying a reusable bottle is an easy way to save money and help the environment.  Another major problem with bottled water, according to Columbia, is that a traditionally public good has been privatized. Bottled water companies gain high profits by drawing water from public water sources, putting it in plastic containers, and reselling it at 2,900 times the price of regular tap. Some experts contend that the profits from bottled water companies could go toward improving public water supplies and infrastructure—making better water for everyone. Though the sale and consumption of bottled water is still on the rise, certain policymakers and activists have t

The meteoric rise of front-end frameworks like React, Angular, Vue.js, Elm, etc. has made single-page applications ubiquitous on the web. For many developers, these have become part of their ‘default’ toolset. When they start a new project, they grab the tools they know already: a REST API on the backend, and a React/Angular/Vue/Elm frontend. When to go for the single page app As I said, the default choice in most cases should be the traditional server-rendered application. However, there are some requirements that might force you to opt for the single-page application architecture: Core functionality is real-time (e.g Slack) Rich UI interactions are core to the product (e.g Trello) Lots of state shared between screens (e.g. Spotify) These products absolutely have to use a single-page architecture to work properly. This is why it’s the right choice for these companies. However, many web-based products do not have these requirements and this complexity can be avoided.
